GUILDFORD, England, June 20 (UPI) -- A trio of jewelry robbers have been sent to prison thanks to a getaway driver who repeatedly slowed down during a high-speed chase, police in Britain say.  Police said despite being behind the wheel of an Alfa Romeo sports car 34-year-old Neil Murray followed road regulations during a police chase in the county of Surrey, slowing down repeatedly when entering restricted areas, The Daily Telegraph reported Saturday.

There's got to be some time off for behavior like that.  A role model for other thieves.

LOS ANGELES, June 19 (UPI) -- Los Angeles County officials say they do not know why more than 8,000 unused phones are being billed to Southern California taxpayers.
County government officials said taxpayers are shelling out at least $1.5 million annually for the government's unused lines, including some that officials said may have never served a purpose, the Los Angeles Times reported Friday.

Generally, you can call the phone company and cancel service.  Why is this a problem?

CANBERRA (Reuters) - An Australian senator whose crying toddler was ejected from parliament during a political vote has prompted a review of chamber rules and sparked a heated debate over child-friendly work practices.

What's the big deal?  We have crybabies in our Congress all the time.
